Admission Requirements
Conduct an initial admissions interview, meet with the accounts department, and tour the school facilities.
Submit a nonrefundable registration and assessment fee.
Prospective student spends a day at DCA to visit classrooms, engage with peers and teachers, and participate in the assessment.
Settle the required fees as indicated on student invoice before proceeding with admissions.
Selection Process
All applicants undergo a thorough academic evaluation. This includes a review of their transcripts, GPA, standardized test scores, and any advanced coursework or honors classes taken.
Applicants are required to take a standardized test, which may include assessments in math, language arts, and critical thinking. Test scores are used to assess academic readiness.
Shortlisted candidates are invited for a one-on-one interview with a faculty member or admissions counselor. The interview assesses the student's interpersonal skills, interests, and alignment with the school's values.
The admissions committee conducts a final review of all application materials, considering academic performance, test scores, interview result, and essay. Admissions decision is based on this holistic evaluation.
Fee Schedule
New Student Fees
The Registration fee is a one time, non-refundable, non transferable payment for all NEW students and must be paid in full at the time of admission. On entry, students in Pre-Kindergarten pay an initial registration fee of USD 2,500; the balance of USD 6,500 becomes payable when the student advances to Kindergarten. Parents registering more than two children are entitled to a registration discount of 25% after the second child.
Returning Student Reservation Fees
A non-refundable reservation fee of GHC 1000 must be paid by May 1st before families’ re-enrollment contract is accepted. The GHC 1000 fee is credited against tuition fees.
